Monitoring and Dashboards

The main dashboard provides an overview of your KaliaOps activity.

Displayed indicators

Refresh

Data is updated:

• Automatically: Every 5 minutes
• Manually: Click "Refresh"

Limited customization

The main dashboard shows standard indicators. For full customization, create a custom dashboard.

Create tailored dashboards adapted to your needs.

Creating a dashboard

1. Menu Dashboard → My Dashboards
2. Click "New dashboard"
3. Name the dashboard
4. Choose layout (1, 2 or 3 columns)
5. Save

Adding widgets

1. Open your custom dashboard
2. Click "Add widget"
3. Select widget type
4. Configure parameters (data source, filters)
5. Position widget via drag and drop

Organizing widgets

• Move: Drag and drop widgets
• Resize: Adjust widget size
• Remove: Delete unwanted widgets

Multiple dashboards

You can create several dashboards for different uses:

• Operational dashboard (incidents, SLA)
• CMDB dashboard (assets, health)
• Project dashboard (progress, budget)

Counter widgets

• Metric Card: Display a number with trend
• Gauge: Circular gauge with thresholds
• Progress: Progress bar

Chart widgets

• Line Chart: Time evolution
• Bar Chart: Value comparison
• Pie Chart: Percentage distribution

List widgets

• Alert List: Alerts and incidents list
• Recent Activity: Recent actions
• Top N: Item ranking

Common configuration

Each widget allows configuring:

• Title: Displayed label
• Source: Entity and metrics
• Filters: Selection criteria
• Period: Time range (7d, 30d, etc.)

Share your dashboards with other users.

Sharing options

• Private: Visible only to you
• Team: Shared with your team
• Organization: Accessible to entire organization
• Public: Visible to all tenant users

1. Open the dashboard
2. Click "Settings"
3. Select sharing level
4. Save

Cloning a dashboard

To customize a shared dashboard:

1. Open the shared dashboard
2. Click "Clone"
3. Clone becomes your private dashboard
4. Modify as needed

KaliaOps records usage metrics for your tenant.

Available metrics

• Active users: Login count
• Actions by module: CMDB, ITSM usage, etc.
• Data volume: Entities created by type
• Exports generated: Count and volume

Access

Metrics are accessible to administrators:

• Menu Settings → Usage
• Evolution graphs over 30/90 days

Quota alerts

If your license defines quotas:

• Alert at 80% usage
• Block at 100% (depending on configuration)

Use metrics to:

• Identify most-used modules
• Plan license needs
• Detect inactive users
